Either spray it in the car with ac running and let it sit in there for 15/20 mins and then air out, repeat monthly . The best air freshener is regularly cleaning the interior of your vehicle with something that smells like leather and gets rid of anything that would smell unpleasant. The best I’ve ever used is Zaino leather cleaner. Makes the inside of the car smell like brand new leather. I use griots and CG stuff from the store sometimes too.
